As a Content Strategist at Lyft, I crafted punchy, performance-driven copy for growth marketing and paid acquisition.

Lyft Auto Care Launch

Lyft Auto Care was more than a new feature, it was an entry into an entirely new market: car owners. The service let users schedule vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes or brake inspections, directly within the app.

I partnered with Product Managers and Designers to create launch communications that educated users and built trust in the offering. From targeted emails to in-app notifications, I crafted clear, action-driven copy that introduced the service, emphasized its convenience, and encouraged first-time bookings.

Lyft Rentals

To generate bookings for upcoming holidays and long weekends, Lyft wanted to show users what kind of fun they could get up to with a rental car.

My punchy emails led to a 3x increase in monthly new users.

New User Onboarding

How does Lyft make life easier? What else can I do with the app? Is it safe to ride right now?

At a time when COVID was still a big concern, I wrote clear and cheerful emails that answered these questions for new users.

Call A Lyft Ride

For some seniors, requesting a ride with the app wasn’t easy. So Lyft launched a pilot program that gave riders the option to call a ride, just like a traditional taxi. I worked with Product Managers and Designers to position the program and wrote copy for the landing page and blog.
